Founded in 1961 in a pre-Civil War church. Tinker Street Cinema is now a surreal revival-house movie theater projecting classic, rare, bizarre, beautiful & forgotten movies from throughout cinema history, with occasional current titles sprinkled in the mix. All in digital, 35mm, 16mm, 8mm & more! Our 160 seat auditorium also has a sound system that some might argue borders on IMAX quality. We got 4 Day Features (Thursdays through Sundays), we got Cartoons In The Catskills Saturday matinees, We got Psychotronic Tuesdays, we got Documentary Wednesdays, we got fountain soda, we got popcorn with real butter & all kinds of sweet & savory flavors, we got candy, we got COTTON candy, we got a lobby that looks like a B&W 1950s SciFi laboratory! Oh by the way, Jimi Hendrix rehearsed here a few days before the Woodstock Festival? Look it up!
